iOS device can be jailbroken by many softwares. On this post, I will be focusing on the five main software available in the market.

Redsn0w is one of the most used jailbreak software today. Because of its simple interface and easiness, people are more attracted to redsn0w than any other jailbreak tool. Redsn0w can be used to jailbreak any iOS device running on almost all the firmwares and iOS till date.

Blackra1n is also another useful jailbreak tool so far. Not a lot of people are using this tool but this one also is good enough to do the job.

Purplera1n is basically used for the jailbreak of iPhone 3Gs but it might also be used for other devices too.

Sn0wbreeze is a tool basically designed for Windows users and it does its job pretty good.Not to mention that it also can make custom boot logo and many other mods.
